Our private-pay reading intervention sessions are rooted evidenced-based approaches, specifically utilizing the Orton-Gillingham method. Our structured literacy sessions are specifically tailored to each individual child and designed to support decoding, spelling and comprehension skills. Speech language pathologist bring a unique lens to reading instruction as we understand how language development directly impacts literacy.

What to expect:

  • One-on-one completely individualized sessions

  • Orton-Gillingham framework and speech sound approach, which is known for its structured, sequential and multi sensory instruction

  • Focus on skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics/decoding, spelling and encoding, reading fluency and reading comprehension

  • Initial session is an evaluation and informal assessment of existing data to determine your child’s current skills and to create a customized treatment plan.
